Over the years we have seen clients transform their lives as a result of the help they received from us.

We want to help you to manage your condition and do the things that you really want to be able to do. Our initial consultation is free and we will come and visit you at home.

This long-term chronic pain condition when the spine and other areas of the body become inflamed.

The symptoms of AS can vary, but usually involve:

  • Fatigue (extreme tiredness)
  • Back pain and stiffness that improves with exercise and isn’t relieved by rest
  • Pain and swelling in other parts of the body, such as the hips, knees and ribs

In the most advanced cases, this inflammation can lead to new bone formation on the spine, causing the spine to fuse in a fixed, immobile position, sometimes creating a forward-stooped posture.

Our personal injury solicitors have many years’ experience of helping people that suffer from chronic pain conditions. Over the years we have built excellent relationships with leading pain specialists that we call on to assess you.

Our initial consultation is free and we will visit you at home, hospital or wherever is most convenient for you.

This type of chronic pain normally affects a certain region of the body, most often the limbs.

There two types of CRPS:

  • Type 1: No nerve damage (previously known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy)
  • Type 2: Where there has been nerve damage (previously known as Causalgia)

This poorly understood condition usually arises after substantial trauma to a limb in an amputation, crush injury, or fracture. It can also develop after traumas such as infections, surgery and even mildly sprained ankles. It some cases, emotional stress has been linked to CRPS.

Myofascial pain affects muscles or groups of muscles. This chronic pain condition specifically affects the fascia, the layers of connective tissues that surround and protect our muscles.

The levels of pain felt by suffers of MPS can vary dramatically and some may feel pain in unconnected parts of the body, known as referred pain.

Symptoms of MPS include:

  • Sensitive knots in muscles
  • Deep, aching muscle pain
  • Pain that persists or worsens
  • Difficulty moving the affected area of the body
  • Insomnia due to the pain

MPS can develop following a physical trauma, such as a car accident or incident at work. If you were involved in an accident that wasn’t your fault, our highly-specialised personal injury team can assess whether you have a case to claim for compensation.

Neuropathic pain is a complex, chronic pain condition that is caused by damage to nerves. The result is that the brain is unable to deliver signal from those damaged nerves to the areas of the body where they are meant to go.

The effect of this can include:

  • Severe pain
  • Sensation of pins and needles
  • Hypersensitivity to touch and electric shock sensations

TN affects the trigeminal nerve, which carries electrical signals from your face to your brain. This chronic pain condition generally affects the jaw, cheeks, teeth, gums, lips and chin. It can be difficult to treat unlike other forms of pain as traditional painkillers will not necessarily help neuropathic pain.

If you were involved in an accident that wasn’t your fault and are suffering from neuropathic pain as a result, our highly-specialised personal injury team can assess whether you have a case to claim for compensation.
